Is the moisture in the wood enough for gorilla glue so I don't need to wet it?

I've heard some people say that you dont need to wet the surface(s) if it's wood, because there's already moisture in the wood. I'm not sure how I feel about it.

I am using Gorilla Glue original and Gorilla Glue Clear

what do you think?

i hate the stuff myself but when i used it i believe they recommend wetting one side. if your wood is wet enough to skip this,it's way too wet to work with.
I agree with pottz, I also hate it. We use it at work to glue in metal inserts. We do not wet, and it will rip the wood out or strip the metal insert. The glue never fails.
id use gloves also,if you get it in your skin it can be pain to get off.it gets on everything and foams and expands.

I think you'll be ok. I have a 20+ yr old cutting board made with TB1 that's been used and abused. Still good.

Here's a video that shows various glues and how they react to moisture.
