It's warming up here. Looks like the snow pack has recovered to 191% of average. The largest lake I like to fish is at 10% of capacity. I'm pretty certain it won't get filled this year.
I'm still working on the bench and making slow progress. Right now I''m trying to get the end caps fit to the bench nice and tight. I've found that angling the blade in my Stanley #10 level out the edges of the mortise shoulders. It seems to be working. But man is it physically taxing to be sitting on the floor trying to hand plane above my head.
My shoulder is killing me.I'm thinking a couple more adult beverages and some Ibuprophen will dull the pain. Back at in the am. I'm going to win this fight!
Good evening all. It's 67° after a high of 85 today. Humidity was 50% and winds were gusting as high as 23 mph. We had a little rain today, but nowhere near what is needed. Farther south around Ft Lauderdale, they got over 25" of rain - most of it in a 6 hour time span. The airport was closed yesterday until sometime Friday.

I was on a cruise last week and been pretty busy since we got back home. I installed the rest of the cabinets in the laundry room. Working on the drawers next.

Deb's happy with them so far. That's the most important thing.

Well, enough for tonight.

60 mostly sunny degrees, this morning...expected high today will be into the 70s....no rain in sight, either....
Neighbor mowed his yard, yesterday.....

Skylight in a Gazebo? will see how THAT turns out....
85 on Fri, 55 on Sat -- wind chill felt like 38, 68 today, 85 on Monday. Welcome to spring in Kansas.
We hit 89° yesterday. Some lightning in the distance but no rain. Today will be mid 80's with chance of rain this afternoon. Unlike Ft Lauderdale, we sure could use some rain

It's 80° and sunny. RH is down to 19%. A cool front is on the way, but you wouldn't know it looking at the forecast.

35 degrees outside, with quite a bit of wind.....and Snow flurries...

Hopefully it will warm up tomorrow
We started out the morning at a chilly 44° but it warmed up nicely. We have picture perfect blue skies and 83° with RH sitting at 17%.

54 bright and sunny degrees outside...Mother Nature finally paid her heating bills..everything is green...

Feeling a little bit better than the last few days...almost human, again...
@6 when I rolled out the bunk. 32 now and headed to 44. Weatherman says we might get a little snow. I spent yesterday sharpening chisels, today it's plane irons and a little bench work.

Phillips Lake is at 14% of capacity. I just don't see how it gets to 100% this year. Soon as the irrigation season starts it will get drawn down.

Good evening all. It's 68° and raining. Been raining on and off all evening. We got about 3" so far. We made it to 87° before the rain cooled things off.

I finished building the drawers for the cabinets. Still need to throw some finish on them.

Looks like the last post was a week ago. Hope we can keep it going....

60 mostly cloudy degrees outside...no rain, yet.....
50 cloudy, misty degrees outside, this Friday morning....95% Humidity....
Springtime is leaving Arizona as May arrives. :(

First 100° day happened a couple weeks ago, but it cooled down with pleasant morning lows in 60's and mid-80° high temps since.
Today's is high is supposed to be 97° with single digit humidity this afternoon. Our first 101+ day happening Sunday?
Have 93° & 10% RH at lunch time.

Spent my morning before it hit 90°, spray painting Beisemeyer Fence(s).
Yes multiple: as in 4 sets of rails, and 3 fence heads. :D
I know, pictures or it didn't happen:
Table Wood Gas Automotive exterior Bumper

Each fence set weighs near 100lbs, which means moving 400lbs of steel at least twice today. :(

Must be getting old and senile, as I turned on mini-split in garage shop and it was only 90° the other day.
Normally can wait till goes over 100°? :p

Drama?
FIL had 42 staples removed from his broken leg injury this week, and can move the knee joint now too. He's slowly progressing about as expected. FIL has starting to come to terms with his aging predicament; and realizes he may never live at his home again. Been a hard mental battle for the retired army colonel. Have already had one over medication scare at the rehabilitation facility, and suspect a urinary infection is starting. Silly place is only required to have 1 attendant for 12 patients, and over night response times are atrocious. FIL keeps calling kids on his phone during 1-4am asking for help changing the TV channel. Family hired an independent contractor overnight assistant to let them get some peace at night.

It's always something in Klutz Zoo, even I don't share it.

It's 67° and dark. Woke up at 4am to a driving rain and howling wind this morning. Not sure about wind speed, but it flipped over grills, tore street names off their posts and rearranged many neighbors lawn furniture. Dumped another 2" out of the rain guage (dumped about 3" on Friday). Well, that's it for me
