A freind wants me to build a picture frame for a photo here Dad took. She said it originally had something soft over it not glass or plexi. I have no idea what it could be, but would like to find out.
So the question is…. What can I use in the frame to protect the photo that is not glass or plexiglass?
Thank You.

There are several frames now that are using a clear Mylar. However, I am not sure if it is compatible with photo chemicals. I have seen it used with Litho prints but not photo's. You may have to do some checking. Also, Mylar offers no UV protection either.
