So recently I purchased this moisture meter because it was cheap. Since I'm also cheap it seemed like a good fit…

It has four settings to chose from for the species group, but unfortunately the sample groups are not very large. Here is the current list that came with the meter:
A: Teak, Afrormosia, Walnut
B: White Poplar, Keruing
C: Lauan, Ash, Elm
D: Basswood, Larch, Pine

Does anyone have an expanded list or some tips for selecting the correct setting?

Four Optional Measured Wood Species
You choose A or B or C or D wood groups depend on the object density to be measure.
The object is denser, you should choose the more latter wood group.
※A is for Teak, Afrormosia, Walnut etc.
※B is for White Poplar, Keruing etc.
※C is for Lauan, Ash, Elm etc.
※D is for Basswood, Larch, Pine etc.
