Help with BIG tree

When I bough my new home - an important feature was a huge white oak. 75' dripline and about 176" circ at three feet above grade. Big ice storm Dec 21. Major damage. Remainder of tree must come down. No apparent rot. But told major danger in trying tp preserve. Bummer!

Estimated at 325 to 400 years old. About 10 feet to first remaining branch.

How could one best preserve some rounds or major planks that would allow the age to be appreciated?
I've seen some huge rounds at museums-but they often are not well preserved. Anyone with experiences/sources on this?

Thanks so much.
