Hello everyone
This is Paolo, from northern Italy.
I spent a lot of time as an amateur woodworker, mainly doing CNC boxes and lightweight furniture.
In the past few years I focused on wood chatoyance, and I am here to share some results with the community.
Here's a cocobolo box I (that is, my cnc mill) carved a few years ago.
As for chatoyance, what got me started on the subject was an Etimoe coffee table I made a few years ago, which literally changes color under some lighting conditions. Unfortunately I have no pictures for that.
I will post a thread with our results on wood chatoyance measurement.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could
be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
