G'day to all, first many thanks to all for the many welcome messages, since joining last night, very much appreciated.
My name is Ronald I signed up as room101 but that is not right no need to hide my real name from such friendly people as are on this site. I am from Queensland Australia, retired at last but a rank amateur as far as woodworking is concerned, I have mucked about a bit with hammer saw and nails, no projects to show, not ones I would post I am building up my tool collection slow but sure, the one thing I do have is a shed which at the moment holds a collection of stuff I've accumilated over the years some that may come in handy, first I need to fit out a corner as a workshop. As we live in the country I don't get the chance to check out the various machinery shops so I buy most of my tools via mail not always the best way but being able to go on the web to check out the reviews and now of course I have the resources of Lumberjocks to check out.
I am going to the woodshow in Brisbane tommorrow, will no doubt catchup with Lazy Larry and Stuart of Stu's Shed, I've not met them before except via their websites. Thats enough for now, Thanks again for the marvelous welcome. See you later.

Ronald.

Greetings Ronald,

This is a big "welcome" from Arkansas, and glad you could join us. You will find this site very addicitive, and
very easy to roam around on…...There are some great craftsman here, and great shops to look at and get
ideas from to help you set a shop up, if necessary. We do enjoy our shops and woodworking, so you have
come to the right spot to learn….... good advice, good projects, and plenty of experience is here for the
taking…..all you have to do is reach out and grab it…... keep on keeping on….... later. Rick.
One other thing: Cruise the workshops on here… you'll see what I mean…....
