I don't know if this is within the realm of the moderators' / webmaster's talents but I would really like a Windows based screensaver that cycles through the projects gallery photos from Lumberjocks. I have a similar one already that Google provides that draws from my web albums and displays a new picture every 10 seconds or so. I just think this would be a cool way to see the thousands of project photos that are stored here.

Other than that, keep up the good work, the site is very user friendly.

Cheers,

Jeff

Jeff,

I can't help you because I don't know Windows anymore but dig down inside the preferences and try to find something within the factory ones. It's quite possible that you'll encounter one that displays an RSS feed. That's what you want.

Macs have one preinstalled that does exactly that:, take a feed form the web and display it onscreen. In this case, if you are interested in something you can press a key and it takes you directly to the page.

Maybe in the shareware sites? Just google Windows RSS screensaver and I bet you'll find the answer to your wish.

Well, thanks to JoJo's advice I did some digging and I now have my desktop slideshow (in Windows 7) set to the Lumberjocks' Projects RSS feed. The only problem now is that the pictures are itty bitty tiny thumbnails taken from the feed.

Is there a feed that would enclose the "zoomed" images from project pages?
