I have a cavity in an African Mahogany guitar body, that's about 1" wide, 1" deep and 2" long. I want to extend the cavity at one end, another two inches, but underneath the top of the wood, about 1/8" below the wood surface.
What kind of tools will allow me to do this?
The only thing I can think of would be dog leg chisels, but the chisel lengths on them seem too short.
