Hi LJ's,

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm looking at a Delta Sidekick 12" Compound Miter Saw on CL, model 36-235. But I'm not sure it'll fit in my existing miter station (which currently has a 10" miter saw). I've searched high and low all over the web, cannot find the specific dimensions I need.

Wonder if any of you who have the this saw might be able to share a couple dimensions? The two red arrows in the picture are the dimensions I'm looking for:

Font Auto part Automotive design Machine Engineering

1. the length of the black base "feet" from front to back. This will tell me if my miter station is deep enough.
2. The width of the base, without the left side extension wing. This will tell me if the saw width will fit in the saw opening in my miter station.

Thank You in advance if anyone can provide these measurements!

Steve

Steve: I have a Delta Model 36-235 miter saw and I just measured the dimensions you inquired about… the black "base feet" are 18 and 3/4ths long and the table minus the extension wing is exactly 22 inches wide.

Now, maybe you can help me… I broke the fence on my saw the second time I used it and the saw is virtually brand new! As you may know, Delta no longer supplies parts for this wonderful tool, so I am looking for a fence. Ideally I would like to find a saw that is being scrapped or parted out with a good fence. I only need the main fence, not the sliding extension or the wing it attaches to. If you find one, please refer me to the source by calling me at 248-608-1315 or emailing me at <earlnsan>
