For all the bad press airlines get (many times deservedly so), this is just so awesome to see.

Thanks to all who serve and have served.

God bless our service men and women and all our vets. If you ever get a chance to see the movie "Taking Chance" by all means do. It's based on a true story of a Marine escorting a fallen soldier home. Very touching and very well done. I had no idea of the stringent protocol involved. It's worth the watch.

Makes me proud to know that some people still care enough to honor our heroes. I am proud to be a Vietnam vet and greatly appreciate this kind action for the fallen.

Thank you for sharing Dallas, with kids and grandkids in the service, I had to post this on my facebook
site. I pray that some day I can take my yellow ribbon emblems down knowing the last of our armed
forces is safely home.

This is awesome… reminds me of the Northwest Airlines and HBO movie they did called "Taking Chance" where Kevin Bacon played the role of escort, to bring a young man home to his family.

Based on real-life events, Lt. Col. Michael Strobl, a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming.
