Hi everyone,

First post and it's a call for help. I picked up a Delta 33-890 yesterday off Craigslist for $75. After putting a 220V plug on the cord it runs great-he couldn't understand why the blade wasn't spinning when trying to run it at 115V. The only real problem with the saw is the table. According to the parts list, it's missing the the fence and the 4 smaller boards that go toward the post. The main board is 14 3/8" x 30 1/8" x 1" MDF.

If the parts list is drawn to scale then the remaining boards should be about:

2nd: 4 1/2"
3rd: 3 1/8"
4th: 2 7/8"
5th: 1 1/2"
Fence: 1 3/4"

Does anyone out there have a 33-890 or similar model and can confirm these measurements? I'd rather not spend the $270 that Delta wants for a replacement table if I can make my own.

Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

I don't have a Delta RAS.. but I do have a Craftsman…. the only critical demension is that the back of the fence, in the most forward position be in front of the blade when it is parked….

I make my fences from one-by pine ( 3/4tk) so the rest of the boards ( my craftsman has two ) have to take up the space between the fence, and the clamps….

I hope this made sense, and actually I hope you figured this out on your own two weeks ago, and have been using your saw all this time…
