Saw this on CraigsList, didn't look like a $3000 Delta saw so I emailed the guy for particulars.

Delta X5 Table Saw - 3 HP Saw - $3,000+ MSRP - $1,500 OBO - $1500 (Madison)
http://madison.craigslist.org/tls/1503918787.html

First he sent me that motor info, volts 115/230 amps 12.8/8.6 Delta No. 62-044. Well that says it's a 1-1/2HP motor (and I think the 8.6 is transposed and should be 6.8 or 6.4). Then I ask for the saw model number, he sends 36-451X, as near as I can tell that was a $600-$700 saw, maybe a $1000, but no $3000.

Sure hope nobody gets suckered into buying it for $1500, that should get you a UniSaw, not a contractors saw.

Hey syenefarmer, welcome to LJs, another Wisconsinite, glad to have you aboard!

Yep I agree. The one good thing about this thread is it shows up fast on Google, it's already there. So hopefully anybody researching this saw before purchasing it will stumble across this.
