Combo Acrylic / Burl pen blank finish technique

Hello,
I am turning a few pen blanks made of combo acrylic and burl. Can anyone recommend a good way to finish this? I usually use polyurethane on wood pens for the durability and shine. CA messes me up too badly to use. Is Mylands the answer? What adheres to acrylic?
Thanks

If poly works for you I would stick with it. You may not want to "polish" the acrylic as poly will need some texture to the surface to stick. I have had good luck with medium thick CA glue. If you use thin CA that may be your problem. I think it cures too quickly.

Mylands works on items that are not handled as frequently as a pen. I find the human hand leaves oil and what ever on the pen and eventually it becomes "sticky" feeling.
