I'm adding a half cloud lift to cabinet doors top rails, and need some advice about the techniques used by the jocks here to groove the rails. I'm guessing slot cutter, either in the router table, or handheld. Which do you all use? Or something else? Thanks.

Why not cut the groove before making the cloud lift profile?
