Cherry Live Edge Table-Need Help

I need some help folks.
This is my first live edge project as a table. But I cant come up with a suitable base option.
It measures 32 inches long, and 16 inches wide.
Metal ?
Wood?
Design?

Any ideas ?

This is my side table and the dimentions were similar to yours and I used just a thicker leg for what I was doing. I don't weld so I wouldn't use metal, but that is a great option if you can do it.

Knowing what type of table this is would help. Will it be a low coffee table, or taller sofa table? What is it used for - storage, or mostly aesthetic?
