Hey guys,
I am hunting down a very specific band saw that I don't believe is in production any more, but in order to find it I need to know if it even exists and how long it has been out of production.
I am looking for a bandsaw that takes an 82" blade, I am under the impression that it is was once made by craftsman, but I can only find reports of a Delta 12" and Delta 16" that take 82" blades. If some one could send me on the right path that would be great.

Hitting about the same information you did, 82" blades fit on 12" Delta 28-190 and 16" Delta 28-560 and the 12" Jet band saws.

Older Craftsman Band Saws mostly took an 80" or a 62", http://www.old-woodworking-tools.net/craftsman-tool-manuals.html is a good place to start hunting pictures. To my knowledge Delta never manufactured a band saw for Sears. Another good place to search is www.owwm.com

Any idea how old it is relatively? Two wheel or three wheel? Craftsman band saws took a pretty radical departure in the 70's and 80's to the "electronic" saw tilt (not table) and it wasn't until the 90's that they first came back to the steel frame, then finally dumped Rexon to go with the Rikon style that they have now.
