peeling away the grime

so my father came into this band saw through a friend and he is not a woodworker he donated it to me.IMGP1594
it needs a new stand, and a good alignment.

IT does run smooth so there is some hope. next ill tear it apart and see what is salvageable

A little paint and grease

Very nice job! It's even got the colours of a super-hero. :) Hope it turns out to be a super bandsaw. :) Enjoy!

Nice work and I bet it will slice like butter. Try Timber Wolf blades there amazing, great rebuild on this timeless beauty. Stay safe and happy slicing…BC

Not sure if that is proper color for that specific machine if doing a proper restoration, but who cares? It looks fantastic….
