American Made - Episode 1 - Atlas 46 - Tactical Tool Gear

The unsung heroes of the tool world here in the United States are companies that resist the pressure to offshore their manufacturing and lose control of their quality standards. Not just companies that ship a bunch of parts in to the US and stamp Made in USA on it, but products designed, sourced, and manufactured right here in the USA. Made with hardworking American Blood Sweat and Beers.

This video series is going to look at some of these companies around the United States, but why not get started right here in my own back yard.

A very interesting vest you have, It would suit me as I work ouside on the ground driveway mostly so all the great stuff would be falling out.

I didnt see any bare patches in your beard so I am guessing the chisel position is safe.

Good job on promoting home produced products.

Ha, ya you're right. One of these days you are going to hear about a horrific accident of a woodworker self decapitating himself with a 3/4 inch chisel…that will be me. I really just throw it up there between chisels when I working with 2 or more chisels.

What kind of work do you do? Do you work on wooden cars?

Sharpening Table Saw Blades with the Pros - WD Quinn Saw Co

I went and visited a local saw shop W.D. Quinn saw a few weeks back and watched what it takes to sharpen a saw like a pro.
