1988 Hegner Multimax Free - SOLD

Can you wait a couple weeks? I am nearby, but on vacation. Near Joliet. Home in two weeks.

This is the older model with the tension lever at the back. I believe the motor and speed control are good.
Parts are probably available.

That actually is an upgraded tension setup - it originally shipped with just a tension knob at back, which had to be tightened/loosened by hand each time. Good news is that all the parts needed are available through Advanced Machinery (Hegner importer). It will cost a couple hundred to get it in shape, but IMO is well worth the effort.

I can't imagine that you could not get any takers. At the very least, a "Free" ad on your local CL should get rid of it in record time. Whatever happens, please don't trash it - it is still a very capable machine and could make someone a wonderful tool that they would not otherwise be able to afford.
