Hello all,
I figured I would share my 15 minutes of fame with my fellow lumberjocks. This month I have an article published in Fine Woodworking on how to make woven panels for furniture and boxes. You can see it here:

4 Ways to Make Panels Pop

You will need a subscription to the online magazine or you can just open this month's issue.

If you want to try the technique, you will find some more information in the writeup of my Shaker Weave project

If you have any questions you can contact me through my website www.InTheDetailsGallery.com

I must say the whole article process was a ton of fun and I recommend anyone try submitting a write-up on their unique work.

Thanks for looking

Tim Pastore

EDIT:
I recently posted the project that was photographed in the article. Here is the link:

Congratulations!

I'm curious… Did you submit a whole story, or just a proposal?
I submitted a larger proposal but the scope was better suited to be part of a larger article. We worked collaboratively to develop the text. The staff at Taunton is really excellent to work with.

ACK!

I'm going to HAVE to subscribe to FWW … one day.

Meanwhile, huge congrats, and-no offense, but … your face looks a LOT like that of a Bernese Mountain Dog (which, to ME, means you're extremely handsome!!)
Congrats Tim
Well deserved, great projects!! Congratulations!!
Tim, this is great news. I really enjoy seeing members get recognition for the skills and techniques that they have developed.
Congratulations Tim. Great job!Let me know if they need an article on how to make stupid mistakes when measuring. I'm your man!
Have not read it yet but looking forward to it. Congratulation!

Congrats. I tried sending a tip but just got the thanks for sending the info postcard. I just read that issue last weekend, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the hard work and time it takes to make an informative article. BTKS
