no previous part Part 1 of My First Real Attempt at a project. A shaker end Table series Part 2: It is here all of the wood I need. »

Well in all reality me building my new workbench is going to have to wait. The reason that I am saying this is just because of the cost and I could possibley have my very first commission. When I say this I am talking about my local furniture shop is going to put a table that I am planning on making in their shop on consignment for me and help me get my name out there. When I talked to the owner of the shop, he said that if this peice looks really good to him and he can sell it and still make a decent profit he said that he will gradually be making me his sole provider of everything in his shop, which includes tables, chairs and hutches and beds etc…. The table that I plan to make is out of solid cherry and is 18” by 18” with one drawer. When I bring it to the owner, I am hoping to list it for $250 and then give him 10-15% of the sale and keep the rest for my self. Materials are going to cost me about $60 and I think I can get it done in 20 hrs. Tomorrow I am going to get the wood from my supplyer and will post pics of it when it arrives as well as my progress throughout the table. This should be interesting…...............
