« Part 3: Dorn's patent revolving mitre box Part 4 of Vintage hand tools in my shop series no next part

I put together a video tour of the revolving mitre box. Keep in mind this is an amateur endeavor. The audio on the last segment is lower than the first two so be prepared to turn it up!

I’ll answer any questions that you come up with. Thanks for reading and watching. I’m planning on doing another series on a Roubo saw and kerfing plane.

Thank you,
Kevin

BTW, a shout out to Smitty for being a sounding board, i bow to the master Galoot.

So you moved to California to become a movie star! Excellent.

Great video. How did you make it?—what “camera” and software are you using? (I ask because I have been spending hours and hours preparing video lectures for my mathematics lectures. using panopto, and I am not completely happy with it.)

I appreciate the tour of the Dorn’s miter box, Kevin. Nice work on the box and on the video.

Finally watched it, and it was awesome! It made me go on an hour long binge looking at miter boxes on eBay (there’s another Dorn’s out there for anyone interested lol)

Great video Kevin. I like the base mount fix. Simple and clever.

Thanks for the video Kev. I’ve never seen one before and it was very informative.
