« Part 3: Drywall is going up and something free. Part 4 of The building of a basement workshop. series Part 5: "A Poor Man's Workshop", well it fits. »

Walls are done. To the best of my ability.

Now, time to build the workbenches. Won’t be anything fancy since it will be made to hold all my benchtop tools. Got a free countertop and found some pretty good looking 2”x6”x41” on craigslist for $0.90 a piece. So it should be a sturdy.

-- While teaching a class, a gentlemen once asked me: "When chip carving an intricate design, what do you do when you are almost finished and the wood breaks off?" I replied "Cover the kids ears."

Congrats, looks like you have planned out the build

-- Norman - I never never make a mistake, I just change the design.
