The total material cost is less than $2, you can DIY two practical woodworking jigs

1. Center finder:
It can be used to take the centerline of angle wood, wood stick, and board side
Quickly locate the location outside the hole
Can also be used as a reference line for nail guns and lock screws

2. Doweling Jig
Keep the drilling position at the center of the wood
It can also effectively control the drilled hole to be vertical

Doweling jig can have many shapes, you can go to google and you will see many similar designs.

You’re very welcome. I’ll pass on the shortened URLs though.

Take a look at the video for the JessEm 08350. I think you’ll realize that there is a difference between a real doweling jig and a simple drilling guide.

If you need to drill precise holes in odd situations, nothing can beat the Stanley No. 59.
