Location: Missouri

I discovered the art of Intarsia in the fall of 2009. I work construction with Mike, my husband of 9 years. He is a carpenter of great skill and craftmanship. We are semi- retired and have become winter Texans spending our summers in the Colorado Rockies. The first Intarsia project I saw I told Mike I wanted to try it. He took me to Lowes and Home Depot and got me all the tools I needed (yes I'm a little spoiled). We went to the bookstore for "how to books".After about 4 months of doing other peoples patterns I've started doing my own. Having been raised on a farm and a horsewoman of course most of my patterns are of horses. It's become a passion and I never cease to amaze myself.
Moved to Southern Missouri in 2014.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Hey terrilynne
Welcome to Lumberjocks, it’s a great place to view some awesome work and meet some really nice people. We all try to have a good time here and help each other out if we can. I love your work and am amazed at the super quality of your new found hobby. You’re quite a quick learner I must say.
