Location: Nashville, Tennessee U.S.A.

I am brand spanking new to woodworking. I started out helping a former friend do home remodeling. I say former because after seeing the unethical way work was done and the way clients were treated, a ran as fast and as far away as I could. I may have been a greenhorn, but I do know right from wrong. Now I spend my free time in my garage turning it into a workshop. I built my first worktable and was happy with my ability. I'm here to learn as much as I can from the pleathora of experienced woodworkers and continue to create.

Wahoo! You just joined the best woodworking club anywhere!

One of the things that I love about the LJ community is how genuine people are. Through past discussions I am impressed at how ethical the people here are.

Todd is right about the genuiness of the people here. It’s a great place to learn, and get advice and feedback on your projects.

welcome to lumber jocks. Please retain the desire to be ethical. I think most of us here share your concern.
