  1. Power Tools, Hardware and Accessories
Hi All, I'm new here but looking for some advice. I have the opportunity to get a 94' powermatic 72a with a 5hp single phase motor in great condition for FREE. I currently have a 99' Delta Unisaw right tilt with a 3hp motor. I would be selling the Uni and using the cash to get new blades and...
  2. Projects Shop Built Table Saw Mobile Base

My neighbor brought over an 8’ 1x4 piece of fir the contractors left after working on his house and asked if I could find a use for it. Of course being a woodworker I knew I could and decided to make something I needed/could share for others who may need to move stuff around in their small...

  4. End Grain Top, A true labor of love

I have had the opportunity to build several, end grain, butcher block cutting boards when a close friend asked if i could make a counter top for a kitchen island. The process is the same, but it is considerably more work to build a larger top…especially in a small shop like mine. I was...

  6. Walnut table

Making custom pieces for family and friends is a real joy for me to do. I had the opportunity to make this table of my own design for my friends Jack and Mari. Jack was one of my professors in dental school, and we have remained colleagues and friends for over 35 years. The provenance for the...
  7. Out feed / assembly table

I have needed a out feed for my table saw for some time now. I also needed a assembly table but I am limited to the amount of space that I have in my shop. I also move around a lot so I had to build it to be able to be taken apart for ease of move. I spent some time looking for a bench that...

  9. Purpleheart Music Box

This is a purple heart and maple jewelry box that I made for my daughter. It plays "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" when you open the LH drawer. I cut the "bears ears" dovetails on my Leigh D4R jig. I bought the music movement from Music Box Attic.
  10. Gifts for a trip

We're starting to plan a FL trip here soon so I wanted to get ahead of things and knock out some gifts for the different friends and family we're staying with. The first going left to right is a baseball bat bottle stopper made from an ash baseball billet. I used a Ruth Niles stainless stopper...

  15. Unique Band Saw Box

This is the first bandsaw box that I made completely of my own design (instead of Lois Ventura's). 17. Valentines Day Mirror for my wife

Just a simple frame for a mirror my wife wanted to go above the hutch in our dining room…it's still the rain season so the wood hasn't had much chance for UV exposure but I'm hoping it darkens up a bit over the summer. Enjoy.
