  4. Carved Santa Ornament

    This is a carved Santa ornament in basswood. It's about 5 inches high and 2 inches diameter. The finish is first boiled lindseed oil, then acrylic paints, then a brown Bris Wax for antiquing. The face is the natural color from the lindseed oil with a hint of barn red to rosey the cheeks and lips.
