  2. Joker Board #4

Built this Power Tool Bench out of mostly free/cheap plywood. It has 54 drawers on wood runners. Its funny how fast the drawers fill up. I like that all of the tools are plugged in and ready to use. No more having to setup a tool, now I can just walk up and use it.

This is the best category I could think of since my shop is my biggest project. Sorry if it's in the wrong place This project all started with the purchase of a 20" planer 5HP (3phz). It came with a static phase converter, which is wrong for this size machine. In doing lots of research I...

  10. Cordless Drill Storage / Charging Station

The drills/drivers are needed for every project, so I wanted to put together something that gave me easy access to all of them and also allowed me to have chargers handy if needed. This charging/storage station has been perfect so far. The unit is 20" wide and 11" deep. I mounted the power...

So…. after making the pencil box for our oldest boy, his brother drew up this and requested that I make it for him. I thought that was just so cute, and so off to the shop I went :) I tried to stay to the look of what he drew. And although it's not woodworking genius, he loves it! Sometimes...

This is a project that I started in October 2013 and finally finished June 2014. I was half way finished and didn't know what I wanted the bottom shelves and bottom legs to look like. So I put them on a shelf for about 3 months and worked on some other projects until I finally pictured the...
  18. Powerful Solution from Scraps

I have never been happy with my power source at the workbench for some of my small power tools. I've managed with some short extension bars but I could never get them secured well and I just wasn't happy with them. I stumbled across an old 100 ft extension cord hiding in a shed around the...

1 Aug 2015 Well, after 17 years I've finally have used up all of my Argentine mesquite horde. Finished an end table this weekend. Kinda sad in a way but it certainly worked out well. I'd bought this load through a local dealer for about $5 a bf in 1998 sight unseen. So, 500+ bf and 20+...
