  1. "walnut" rattlesnake necklace

The rattles are inserted into the tiny walnut holder and a leather string goes through the top of the walnut. Took me 20 minutes longer than it should have to shape the walnut piece as it got away from me as I was using the belt sander. Kicked it out into the front of the shop…among woodscraps...

  3. Halloween Jewelry

I wanted to make some Halloween necklaces this year. It is Red Ribbon Week at school (celebrating drug free) and there are lots of activities and dress up days. I don't do most of the dress up days but I thought I could show a little school spirit and wear some holiday jewelry. The pumpkins are...
  4. Wood / Resin necklaces

Some necklaces I made for my wife's boutique clothing store using some leftover exotic wood, alumilite resin and metallic mica powder. Casted as a single large block then cut into each individual piece. So far they have been popular with the Packers fans!
  5. Functional Necklace

This is my entry for the Wooden Wear-ables contest. It is what I have started to call a Lanyard Pen as I have a sold a few and my daughter has given one to her teacher for that purpose. They are great to where on a lanyard or necklace as the pen just unscrews from the cap. This one is made with...
  6. Productive morning

Since I did not have to work until late today I figured I'd spend some time in the shop, after treating my daughter to breakfast. As you can see on the bench I had a few things I could finish up and get out of the way. Took the clamps off of some laminate blanks that I cut yesterday. These will...
  7. Necklace Hanger Christmas Presents

I had some cut-offs of Pecan from a Pecan Tree Cut down in Georgetown, Texas and milled and dried by Bill Stuewe Weir, Texas. I needed some quick stocking stuffers so I made these Necklace Hangers. I went to World Market and picked up some Random Door knobs. I sealed with clear Shellac.
  8. Siamese cat necklaces

I had requests from my mom and grandma for Siamese cat necklaces like the dog ones I've been doing. I made 4, two for gifts and two to sell. Perfect! The cats are Indian Laurel and maple with a thin backer of walnut since the ears were otherwise too fragile.
  9. Jewelry Organizer

I saw this idea online and decided it looked cool and functional, so I decided to make one! Happy to say my girlfriend now has a lot more hanging on it now. Comments are always appreciated. Oh, I forgot to mention… I actually just used a couple paint sticks you get at Lowe's or The Home Depot...
  10. More "Pen"dants

Yes here are more "pen"dants I really do like these kits. The other reason for these is it is teacher appreciation week next week at my daughter's school and the PTA has asked for donations to give out to teachers and faculty. So the first two pens you see here are on the way to the school. The...

  12. Oak Branch Necklace and Earrings

Here is an oak branch necklace and earring set I recently made for sale . Next week we are planning to attend our first craft show since 2019. The venue has been moved outdoors and hoping the weather will cooperate. This is the first grouping of new stuff for the table, Teleidoscope Necklaces. Been wanting to make a larger version of these for a while and have the...
  15. Couldn’t show this one until after Christmas

Our middle daughter saw the little timber Christmas trees I'd made for the local community clubs fund raiser and commented that she'd like a set for her Christmas table decorations. Of course I took the hint and secretly made a set for her. Offcuts and recycled/reclaimed timber laminated...

  18. Stumpy's Tubafore Necklace

I saw Stumpy's Tubafore contest on the forum page and thought it would be fun to enter. I had a few really good ideas, but ran out of time so this is what I ended up making. It is a roof trus necklace. It measures 2" wide, 3/4" tall and 1/8" thick. I took a tubafore and resawed it on my bandsaw...
