Mother nature did most of the work on this project by hollowing out this log. All I had to do is cut them to length, drill the hole, screw the cedar shake roof, & floor on. I hung them this fall, & hope to see some occupants in the spring.
This is my take on the thin rip jig. Made with oak & purple heart. I purchased the magswitch awhile back & use them a lot so figured why not makem double duty. The adjustable knob almost wasn't needed but comes in useful after switching on the magnets. All in all it works excellent & looks good...
