  1. Router Table Cabinet Insert

My router table cabinet insert is finally finished…ish. Just a few details to mop up. Not that the blue color gives it away but it's a Kreg table that I upgraded with a Jessem Mast-R-Lift II and a PC 75182 motor. The cabinet is loosely based on Kreg's plan but since I wanted to incorporate a...
  2. Just Another Old Door, Or Not.

I got my hands on a few old doors, some were antique, some were not. Based on the holes for the knobs, this one appears to be from the 40s or 50s. I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do, so I took the top panel out and put some shelves in the hole. The rest was just trial and lots of...
  3. Jelly Cupboard

I had a stash of poplar that we moved from the old house, and we needed a little storage in one of the bathrooms in the new house. It is 36" tall, 12" wide, and 11" deep. -Gerry
  4. Storage Box for Jessem 8350 Dowelling Kit

EDIT: Added handles and lid. The handles are from Lee Valley. The lid is held in place by four 1/4" magnets also from Lee Valley (felt like playing with those). It's a surprisingly satisfying closure. The lid is from a pine scrap from a bed I found on the street. The recess in the lid is to...
  5. Projects JessEm 8350 Doweling Kit Storage Box (or Drawer Insert)

I'm really impressed with JessEm's 8350 doweling jig. I bought the master kit earlier this year, and I've used it to glue up wide panels, attach shelves to cabinet sides, and build drawer boxes. It allows me to work faster and with more precision, and it's designed and built so well that it just...
  6. Sharing for the Cause

I was making ornaments for a friend my husband works with. This friend went to Missouri to visit relatives and came across some Cedar wood that he thought I would like to have. This is one of the pieces of wood that he picked up for me, cool huh! Immediately seeing the wood I started picking...
  7. Fire place mantle

A customer placed an order for a fireplace mantle. 5' long x 17" avg with x 3" thick. I had a lot of trouble with the finish on this project, I think it was the cold weather. I cut the mantle out of a 7' slab and used the scrap from the slab for the mantle feet.
  8. Router Table / Outfeed Table

This is a router table I built which also serves as an outfeed table for my table saw. I applied a lot of the same techniques that I used for the wall hanging cabinet I made however this was much more complicated with drawers, an access door to the router bay and a large table top. The hardest...
  9. Parker and Landon's Box of Blocks

"I can't throw them away." Just a stack of wood cutoffs, taking up space in the workshop. It is hard for me to give them up. They would burn nicely in the fire place (won't do it). Perhaps the garbage? No way, I won't even think of my wood nuzzling next to potato peels. And then, I see...

there was an opening last night for a guild of vermont furniture makers show at the firehouse gallery on church street in burlington, vermont … it's only up through next weekend, but the space is great and work is too if i do say so myself … more info on my dorset custom furniture blog... 11. Custom storage drawers

This is a simple storage drawer system. The top drawer is for CD's, DVD, etc… The other drawers have movable dividers for storing items of multiple sizes. Construction consists of oak plywood with solid oak edges. Drawer slides are accuride.
  12. New Router Fence

Decided to purchase a JessEm Fence for my router for its versitility. Took a little while to figure out how to mount it but came up with this. All made out of scraps from around the shop; Baltic Birch & Oak.
  13. Rustic wood liquer cabinet

We created this rustic wood and metal liquer cabinet from old regenerated wood, metal, twisted old growth juniper on the doors, a few shotgun shells line both sides and an antique boiler pot for ice and beverages. Inside the cabinet is a wine glass holder and shelf.
  14. Table saw fence on steroids

I keep adding and adding to my table saw rail, mostly with safety and usability improvements. First I added the Wixey DRO with a General International microadjuster. Then I added the Jessem Clear-Cut Precision Stock Guides, which were a nice addition. But last year I bought the Duelen Safety...
  15. Jessem-Router-Lift-II Tablesaw Extension Wing

I finally finished the router table extension wing that I started back in January. I installed the Jessem Router-Lift-II in between the factory rails of the Ridgid TS3650 (I shifted them down a bit). I really like the lift - the build quality is fantastic - but it's my first so I don't have...

I found a good deal on a Jessem Paralign doweling jig, on eBay. Hi Lumberjocks, I'm taking a long shot, here. I would like to buy a used doweling jig. I would prefer a Jessem Paralign, first, then, Dowelmax, or Jessem 8350 in that order. Thanks for looking. I'll be glad to receive advice on the...

I want to buy an original Jessem router Mast-R-Fence (model #04001), not the current model Mast-R-Fence II (I already have one). It needs to be in decent shape. It has two T-tracks on the back bottom that will be helpful in my next project. If you have one that you would be willing to part...

Like New Mast-R-Lift 2 Router lift. These are $364.00 new plus shipping and tax. (www.WoodCraft.com) I think $300.00 is a fair price. I purchased this a few years ago and it works fantastic!!! I used it to make raised panel doors, and the fine adjustment is great, and it also allows the router...
