I built all three of these gliders from a pattern on cherrytreetoys.com. I just extended dimensions by 2' increments and added support braces. I also made a couple more modifications to the plans to make it safer.

I made this for my g-daughter. Actually seen this done on here from a set of plans. They made slats instead of spindles. I built mine out of soft maple, turned all the spindles, use mortise & tenon and biscuits joints instead of screws.
