  2. Chefs Knife

    Hi all First of some Christmas presents is a chefs knife for daughter number 1, it is a Hock blade (I do love their quality blades) and the scales are outback Queensland Gidgee which I kept some sapwood on. The finish is Estapol gloss rubbed back with Tripoli powder while wet.

  4. Shoulder Plane

    Hi all, I tried my hand at a shoulder plane and this is what I came up with. It is from Jarrah and Huon Pine with the wedge from Gidgee. The blade is a Gordon. The body is glued and pinned with brass rod. It is finished with burnishing oil.
