After soaking it in Wood Juice for 2 days then using epoxy to fill the deep cracks it was finally ready for turning. Finished with just 2 layers of spit coat. Loved using my new EasyWood tools and Laguna lathe. Got another piece of the crotch to try and turn.

It started as a slab of Aussie Beefwood, split down the center, reversed and filled with casting epoxy. Finished with 3 coats of a clear epoxy. The legs are 2.5in square tube with 1in feet painted black with DTM paint.
