Hi all, A few months ago I bought a Delta-18-900L drill press. It's been a wonderful drill press, but I've been trying to fine-tune it to get the most out of it. I bought a dial indicator to test runout, and then this linear rail to act as a reference when squaring up the table: Amazon.com...

Is it my imagination or did/does Wen make a drill press with model # 4224? I'm almost positive I've seen this for sale in the past. Does anyone have any information about this?
  7. Projects Drill press dust collection

My take. The back is simply a block for the knob and dowel on top. The hose mount is dry fit to the dowel so it can rotate 360 and removes easily. It also tilts left/right about 40 degrees, sucks 95% of the dust and cost me nothing.

Making custom pieces for family and friends is a real joy for me to do. I had the opportunity to make this table of my own design for my friends Jack and Mari.
