  1. Drill Press Station - Table/Lift/Fence/Vise/Drum Sander

Drill Press Station - Table/Lift/Fence/Vise/Drum Sander My drill press is a small inexpensive bench top type, and until I get a good floor type one I am trying to get the best out of it. One of the first things I did was to change its old pole with a stainless steel one. Why stainless steel...
  2. Drill Press Fence Upgrade

When I first purchased my Delta Drill Press in January 2018, I was very ambitious to get it up and running. I built a very simplistic fence made out of a piece of jointed and planed cherry (3/4" tall x 2-1/4" deep x 20" wide) and two T-bolts and 5 star knobs. It served it's purpose until now...
  3. Drill Press Table

Continuing my January Jigs, I just upgraded my old Craftex drill press…NO MORE CLAMPS…LOL. Clamping the small metal table always got in the way of the handles, so to get the height I wanted for mortising tall boards, I had to be sure the handles didn't hit the back support. The small fence from...
  4. Drill press table

This drill press table is similar to my original table but it has all the ideas I came up with to improve it while using the old one for four years. The table is two layers of 3/4" MDF glued together while the fence is single piece of 3/4" MDF. Both the fence and table were finished with a poly...
  5. Drill Press Table and Fence

I moved permanently to Germany about 10 months ago. Before I moved I was a member at The Woodworkers Club in Rockville, MD. The place is awesome. If you are ever in the area you should look them up and stop in. Before I left I used my time to build some tools for my new shop. I deceided...
  6. Simple Drill press table

The idea was to build a drill press table that is easy to take on and off (because i often don't need one) as well as keeping it simple enough that it wouldn't take long to build and still serves the purpose I need it for, positioning a workplace for multiply holes in the same location. more...
  7. Drill press table (and shelf pin holes)

Drillpress table Small and effective! The parts for this little table has been there for some weeks, so it took only a little time to put it all together. Since my workshop are small, the table are also not king size. 6. picture; the table with all coponents after it was made. 2. picture; the...
  8. Power Tools, Hardware and Accessories
Anyone using this fence? It looks like the connection for the dust/chip control is at one end of the fence. I'm wondering how this has been working out for you. I'm thinking of buying the DP Pro 24 inch fence. Thanks for the advice.

  10. Jigs & Fixtures
Nothing really new here. You can turn the inserts end for end to get a new surface. I made the sliding hold down bar for small & odd shaped pieces. I really enjoyed making the hold downs. 2 sizes. Good fun.
