  1. Updated My Bathroom

I enjoyed building the quilt rack so much I decided to build another for a towel rack. My bathroom is all redwood so I used all redwood for the rack. I hid the dowels on this one just to try something different. When I finished it, I decided to make new door handles/drawer pulls. And then a...
  2. Repair of old wood drawer pull on Secretary

Just finished an interesting project. Our local historical society owns an old home, that has a Secretary with fold down writing table. There are 3 lower drawers with 2 pulls per drawer. Over the years, the pieces of the pulls fall off onto the floor. The curator picks them up and puts them in...
  3. Tool cabinet door/door pulls - done cheap

I've always liked the look of full length drawer pulls and how easy they are to grab. I didn't like the price of the solid stainless steel or aluminum ones. I've seen them for up to $40 each - with me having well over 40 or 50 pulls in my shop that was a dream a winning lottery ticket away - I...

I had a bunch of tools just laying on the shelf beneath my bench that was a driving me crazy so I decided to make a set of drawers to organize and declutter the shelf. Design I've been thinking about this for a while. I'm a contract engineer so we have to move every few years. My shop is usually one side of a two car garage with makeshift shelves. I sometimes add some cheap cabinets but end up leaving them when we move. A good dust collection system is out of...

Make Your Own Drawer Pulls Now to begin with, this is not woodworking, but does have to do with furniture. I have had many woodworkers that have been curious about blacksmithing and what i do and how I got into it. I never post my smithing projects here just because it is a woodworking forum...

Drawer Pull Hi Jocks! This is a video of making a drawer pull for a project I am working on. I turned the pull from some beech and ebony. This is the kind of project that I thought that I needed a lathe for. I have been bitten by the turning bug and that is all that I seem to want to do...

  12. Woodworking Skill Share
I needed 20 pulls for my shop cabinet drawers and didn't want to spend money for them so I came up with a simple drawer pull design. I made a cove by running two lengths of 1×2 at an angle through the table saw. Then angled one edge 15 degrees and cut them to 5" lengths. They work great!
