  1. Bullet pens

I've been really getting into turning lately but have been all but absent from LJ's. Nothing super special compared to other's pens but I'm still proud of them. I'm finding it's not about the project but the process when turning a pen. Everyone has a pen and they're cool but the process is what...

Going to be attempting to spend some time in the shop each Wednesday evening for a bit, mostly doing turnings and such. It is both a bullet and a pen. First time making this one. Also first time using any kind of burl, this one is maple from LJ Jim Jakosh. This pen is very precise in the fit of the pen to the shell. Had to take it apart one time to get it to fit right.

  11. Focus on the Workspace
I've finally tried out Sketchup. My results aren't great, but I managed to measure out and draw our garage, aka my workshop. With the new shed complete, I'm going to be able to move much of the seasonal stuff out to the shed, giving me more room in the garage. Behind where the figure is...
