  1. Wood Veneer Business Cards With My Bandsaw

    Wanted to try cutting my own veneers to print my business cards on. They aren't exact size but I'm happy with the outcome. I leave a natural edge when I print on cedar and of course they smell great. Softer woods work extremely well, hardwoods brake apart.

    The dark wood in this item is roasted maple. The light wood is curly Maple. I made a jewelry box (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/181466 ) with similar materials. In the write-up I mentioned that after maple is roasted it isn't really maple anymore. The roasting process makes it quite brittle...
