  3. His & Hers Wine Barrel Chairs

    My latest production was this His & Hers wine barrel chair set. I used a Bordeaux barrel for his chair because it is a couple inches taller than the Burgandy barrel for her chair. I used the metal barrel hoops for accents/supports on the back of his chair and wood accents/supports for her chair.

    Going to be building a rowboat this summer that will have frames of red elm. If anyone has any leads on air-dried red elm in New England, let me know…or if anyone is a sawyer with access to a log (Maximum length I need is about 6-7 feet). I'm in Newport, RI. Thanks, James
