transitional plane refurbish - 6 replies Hi everyone just got a Stanley 31 off EBAY was very surprised that the sole is in great shape flat and straight. the handle is broke off at the top not a big deal, but the biggest problem I have is the frog screw holes, they are sloppy and need work. what is the best way to fill in the holes and make them stronger if possible, I am thinking a sa... |

Picking up a Unisaw from Craiglist - 3 replies Had to wait a week to get the saw the seller was on vacation and all I ‘ve been thinking about is getting this saw home. Jet 12 Table saw - 9 replies Hi I have found a Jet 12 inch t.s. don’t know much about 12 inch saws. what are my main concerns with blades, power supply or parts. I want a better saw then a contractor type and this looks like a good buy. |

Any uses for Willow Burl - 2 replies Hi everyone I have 2 very gnarly willows on the property, today I sliced a piece off a branch that fell and it has interesting grain but is extremely light and I’m not sure what it can be used for other then turning material. I have soo much burl I hate to think it not worth harvesting, any ideas guys? |
