« Part 1: Antique Oak Office Chair Part 2 of Refinishing series no next part

I refinished this antique oak childs school desk that I purchased at a yard sale last summer for $20. I had little hope for it turning out as nice as it did. Taken apart piece by piece, sanded to bare wood, stained & reassembled. As you can see in the before pics, it was in very rough shape. Top was broke in half, seat broke in several places, drawer in 5 pieces. I’m pretty proud of how it turned out.

Anyone know a rough estimate on the value of this piece?

Beautiful job well done.
What an elaborate desk for a young child. Makes me think there was a time when it was considered worthwhile putting the money and effort into a childs education.
