Hello, Freinds I’ve been doing alot of research and browsing on the net about the Shopsmith version of the Joint-Matic and found very little positive feed back on their version of this machine. Shopsmith made a number of changes to this machine to eliminate weight and cost on the production that were crushall to the machines performance. This I am sure of. I have been studing the original blueprints on this machie for years now and since my father were the orginal inventor of the Strong Tool Design Joint-Matic, I know about everything they are to know about this machine. The original replica, along with a few improvements, as well s replacement parts will soon be available. Please pass this message along to fellow woodworkers, and any questoins or commets about this product feel free to email.

Thank You

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these machines, could you show some pictures?

I just purchased a joint matic and mounted it to my shopsmith 510. The distance between the face of the collet closure and the fence on the joint matic is about .877. The shanks on my router bits are about 1.15 inches. In order to move the bits to cut I have to slide the out of the collet. Does anyone have this same problem and what is the solution. thanks Larry
