Router Lift #1: Router Lift

DIY Router Lift Trying to adjust bit height from underneath the table is a hassle which gave rise to several after market router lifts and diy lift plans. I have a 3-1/4hp Freud plunge router mounted under my Incra table. There was no way I would spend the money asked for a router lift. Here’s what I did to adjust the router from above the table. All for the cost of a couple of nuts and some time. 1. Separated the router motor from the base.2. Removed the pin locking the adjustment screw to the base.3. Threaded that end for a 3/8’ nut.4.
