I've been a woodworker for over 55 years. I was a charter member of the Vancouver Guild and have since started 2 guilds, as I relocated. I call myself the family woodworker since that is how I create capacity in my shop giving family members furniture and home accessories. Lately I have started string instruments with my first cigar box ukulele - that's what having grandchildren does for you. My other hobbies are sausage making and driving throughout North America.

Glad to see that you have decided to add LJs to your list of life experiences. I am sure that you will find it to be a pleasurable experience. It should tie in nicely with your ebaying. But, of course, all that computer time does make it difficult to schedule some shop time as well. Anyway have fun and keep the post coming it is always nice to see other woodworkers in action.

Nice to see another Islander on the site. Great workshop…now if I can ever get mine done.

Cheers

John where are the photos of the bench and #6 plane? Actually I’m in the interior between Chase and Salmon Arm but getting set to relocate to the Island in the next couple of years. Good luck with the shop build.
