Bosch Oscillating Tool speed selection . - 11 replies

Purchased a Bosch Var speed osc tool. How do I select the tool rpm ( speed ) to suit the material I cut? Example if cutting nails do I use max speed? Is there a speed- usage table somewhere ? Thanks

Rockwell compact circular saw - 6 replies

Band saw blade length - 2 replies

I have a cheap 9 inch band saw for model use only. The blade length is 59 1/4 inch.Some of the blades come in either 59 or 59 1/2 inch. Since its only 1/4 inch difference I am wondering whether to err on the short or long side . Tks

Unscrew super tight screws Dewalt 611PK baseplates - 8 replies

The base plate screws are super tight so much so I cant simply unscrew them with just a Phillips head screw driver. Afraid to strip the screw head. Slide switch for my Shop Vac - 4 replies

The slide switch for my old shop vac is getting intermittent. It turns on OK but tends to switch off by itself due to vibrations . Last night I dismantled the unit and found that the panel mounted slide switch is rated at 11A , 125V .
