We all seem to reach that point in our hobby where we just have too much “stuff”. I planned ahead and bought a shipping container to better store my expensive collection of wood and make it easier to keep track of what I have in stock. Part 2: The Compromises

There is nothing complex about placing a rack into a steel box. As a matter of fact, it’s freaking easy 8^) Plenty of structure to attach to, straight and level. I knew it had to be strong and maximize the space so I opted for steel pipe as the rungs, space every two feet.Though I could go the full 20’ of depth, only my Poplar lumber is 16’ and everything else is 12’ or shorter. Part 3: Load 'er Up

Rack is done! I transferred the wood from my old rack to the new rack, but left all the red oak behind to keep the squirrels from jacking with my house. I also had plenty of other wood stored in the shop to move The bottom gets all the ultra heavy 8/4 stock of maple, red/white oak, cherry, and some Poplar.
