Hint for gluing on Incra type wooden hinges

I hope this is a helpful hint when gluing on Incra type hinges to a project. Using a single “pin” really helps to align the two hinges. I also found it easier to glue the project while on it’s lid, gluing the lid side leaf on first, then the box side leaf next. The extra piece on box side leaf is trimmed off using a flush cutting router bit.

I got one of those Incra hinge jigs a while back. Haven’t gotten a chance to use it, but I’ll file this tip away for when I do. Thanks!
